Beaufort Schools
The Beaufort County School District encompasses 586 square miles in the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry. It is a land rich in natural beauty, history and resources and an area of economic contrast and cultural diversity. More than 19,000 children attend 30 Beaufort County Schools. By the fall of 2010, two additional elementary schools, two childhood learning centers and a high school will open to meet the needs of one of South Carolina’s fastest growing counties.
